Longmont

We turned this yard of patchy grass and weeds into a functional and beautiful backyard retreat. We designed this space with the idea of having different "feature" gardens: the pollinator garden is full of color and buzzing with life throughout the season, the rock garden has a diversity of unique, drought tolerant plants, and the prairie garden draws in a diversity of wildlife and mimics a natural Colorado prairie. This garden has come such a long way since the first phases of installation in 2022 and our clients couldn't be happier!

Longmont

Our clients were very concerned about their water usage and wanted to opt for a drought-tolerant landscape. The new plants flourished in their first year and we couldn't believe how many pollinators and hummingbirds visited the garden by the end of the summer. Within one season, our clients' water usage decreased by more than half compared to the previous year!

Longmont

These clients were keen on adding some interest and curb appeal to their front yard landscape.

This xeriscape design includes a unique feature called a 'crevice garden' (slide 6). Crevice gardening is a somewhat new idea that is catching on quickly and has become one of our favorite landscape features!

Berthoud

One of our favorite garden features shines at this residence in the Colorado plains: a Crevice Garden. Mimicking a natural rocky terrain, these gardens are created using closely wedged stone, intricately and creatively installed. The crevices of the rocks are then planted with a combination of unique and diverse plantings. The rocks act as a natural weed barrier while giving the plants small, protected pockets to grow and thrive.

Longmont

This large front yard was once a water-hungry lawn. We transformed it into a native habitat with a diversity of fruiting trees, shrubs, grasses and perennials. The front of the landscape features a variety of cold-hardy cactus and rock garden plants. We loved seeing the progress this garden made in it's first year, and all the happy pollinators visiting flowers throughout the seasons.

Erie

This client wanted to stand out in a neighborhood full of manicured lawns - she did not want a blade of grass to be seen! And so we installed a fun and funky desert landscape with a meandering path and many unique features. This space will be a refuge for pollinators and wildlife all around!

Longmont

We turned this front yard into a Colorado Native Plant Society Certified Native Plant Garden.

Taken from the CoNPS website:

"A CoNPS Certified Garden honors gardeners for their commitment, planning, and hard work to provide habitat for Colorado Native Plants and native wildlife."

Niwot

This partly shaded yard was transformed from dirt and weeds into a peaceful oasis!

Our clients love spending time enjoying their front yard and all the new plants.

Lafayette

This desert-style garden was a fun makeover for our clients in Lafayette. Planted with native plants, hardy cactus, and succulents!

Longmont

This property got a major facelift including installation of dry river beds, berms for height and dimension, decorative rock, and all new, mostly native plantings.

Longmont

This property needed a major weeding and some new plantings to really make it pop!

Southwest Longmont

A clean & simple xeric garden installation with flagstone path. This area gets full sun, and very hot against the house! We chose plants that flourish in the heat, and require very little water.

North Boulder

Small lawn removal project for a client in North Boulder, replaced with all native plantings. This property's proximity to the foothills makes it an ideal site for planting natives and supporting local wildlife.
